Having waited to see who the surprise act that was appearing we were not disappointed as Best Of Friends gave us a great show. 
The concert room was full and the dancers were up from the first song until the last. The final third of the last set was taken up with jivers on the dance floor to a great selection of party songs.
Along with a free buffet and good bingo prizes, not forgetting the free raffle and the artist fund raffle, it was a super afternoon.
The afternoon sessions at Wickersley Social Club have become so popular they are having to find more and more tables and chairs but no one minds because they all get to know each other and have a lot of fun singing and dancing along to some great acts.
The Egg Man himself (Pete Jones) books the acts for the club and he sure knows how to pick them for this discerning crowd, some of who travel for over an hour to be there each Tuesday.
We are now all looking forward to 2023 and what the year will bring, hopefully more of the same.
